1. Pinch Pottery
First, you’ll explore pinch pottery, where you’ll shape clay with your hands to create beautiful, organic forms. This technique is perfect for beginners because it requires no special tools—just your fingers and imagination!
2. Coiling Technique
Next, you’ll learn the coiling technique, which involves building vessels and sculptures using rolled clay coils. This method allows you to create larger and more intricate pieces, such as vases or bowls.
3. Vessel Making
After that, you’ll move on to vessel making, where you’ll craft functional and decorative pieces like bowls, cups, and vases. This is a great way to combine artistry with practicality.
4. Slip Painting
Finally, you’ll experiment with slip painting, adding color and texture to your creations using slip and oxides. This step brings your pieces to life and gives them a unique, personalized touch.
All materials, including earthenware clay, tools, and aprons, will be provided. Moreover, our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way.
