Looking Back: Art Workshop in Angeles City at BeyondWalls Coworking & Study Cafe
On October 5, 2024, BeyondWalls Coworking & Study Cafe transformed into a vibrant creative hub as Variations Creatives Hub hosted an exciting Art Workshop in Angeles City, featuring Basic Acrylic Painting and Coiling Pottery. The event welcomed participants from all backgrounds, eager to explore their creativity in a warm and inspiring setting.
The Acrylic Painting Workshop, led by Wiljhun Ray Magsino, allowed attendees to unleash their artistic potential. Under expert guidance, participants learned various painting techniques, experimented with colors, and created their own masterpieces. Each participant was provided with:
- A canvas for their artwork
- Acrylic paints and brushes
- An apron to keep their clothes clean
- An easel for support
At the same time, the Coiling Pottery Workshop allowed attendees to immerse themselves in the art of ceramics. Using 1.5kg of earthenware clay, participants practiced pinching and coiling techniques to sculpt their pottery pieces. They also had access to pottery tools and professional guidance, ensuring that each creation was both functional and expressive. Afterward, their pieces underwent a firing process to complete the transformation.
